You Missed It!

The first edition of My Collaborative Team's CollaborEAT! webinar series is in the books. Yesterday's discussion lead by MCT participant and IACP Board Member, Kevin Scudder, brought over 30 Collaborative Professionals from across North America together where we discussed "How To Sell The Collaborative Process" to those in need.

As Kevin explain's in his own words, "It's really a pleasure to take an hour of time to speak about the Collaborative Process in ways that helps others expand their practices and their happiness."

CollaborEAT! is My Collaborative Team's unique way of offering our participants a chance to connect with, and ask their Collaborative Process questions to experienced and distinguished Collaborative professionals from around the world.

As one of our many participants said, "It is good to discuss collaborative law with potential clients so they can make the choice as to how they want their marriage to end."

The post-webinar survey show that 100% of participants would recommend the CollaborEAT! webinar to their colleagues. Luckily, My Collaborative Team has already announced our next CollaborEAT! webinar taking place on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 12pm EST/9am PST. Registration for the next CollaborEAT! webinar will be made available in next week's email.

  1. How can you NOT sell the colaborative approach to someone? It saves the parties time, money, unnecessary grief, and creates less wear and tear on the family unit (and that’s just for starters). I have never understood why the “How to sell C.L.” type topics even earn the distinction of being referred to as a “topic”.

It’s a gimme. In 22 years of collaborative law practice, I have never had a client say “NO” to the process. Their spouse may say “NO”, but never a prospective client. What’s not to like? Someone please tell me what the issue is, and why anyone ever deems this to be a worthy topic.
