Martinis, wine and vodka flowed on Friday afternoon at our first CollaBARate! Happy Hour get-together.  Over 50 Collaborative professionals from across North America gathered on Zoom to enjoy some spirits, snacks, fun talk, good times, and a bit of learning!

A bit of learning? At a happy hour? Just ask Cynthia Swanson from Gainesville. One of our Canadian colleagues taught us how to sign a document on an Apple IPhone using the Notes application. When Cynthia asked for more instruction, we sent the two of them off to a breakout room while the rest of us enjoyed each other’s company.

It was really great to see so many of our colleagues. We heard stories of how everyone is adapting, things they are doing to keep busy, how they are continuing their Collaborative practices, what foods they are cooking, what games they are playing and much more.

My Collaborative Team hopes to continue making this difficult situation we are all in just a little bit easier and a little bit more rewarding.

This Friday we will have a double offering!  

At noon join Dr. Randy Heller, Adjunct Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University, will present a 90 minute webinar on Family Systems Theory - teaching you how an understanding of this theory can transform your Collaborative Practice by enabling and empowering you to develop the necessary mindset to make the continued paradigm shift and do your best work.

Then at 4:30 the CollaBARate Happy Hour will begin again.  Join us for as long as you like. We will be online for at least two hours!
