The Door is Open!

The Door is Open!

To our friends at MCT:

Last week, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals opened registration for the 21st International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) Annual Networking and Education Forum, which kicks off on October 19th and ends on October 29th.

The staff, Board, and Forum Committee are eager to welcome attendees from around the world to 10 full days of fun-filled networking and learning.

For 20 years, the Forum has been an in-person event held in locations across North America.

But this year, we’ve adapted to new circumstances, and the Forum will be virtual.

We expect this to be the biggest Forum ever.

The theme is “The Door is Open!” - a particularly apt one as going virtual makes the Forum so much more accessible to people who may not have been able to afford to make the trip or manage time away from their practice or family.

We have a wide variety of offerings over various time zones, so no matter where you live, there will be many options during waking hours. And, in the case that you aren’t able to make a workshop, you won’t need to worry because your registration includes access to replays for all 32 workshops until October 2021.

Our Pre-Forum Institutes and workshops are always a draw, featuring some of the most well-known trainers in the field and exciting new voices to stimulate new ideas and perspectives.

I invite you to:

  • Stretch your comfort zone with technology,
  • Stretch your muscles with our online yoga; and
  • Stretch your international horizons by participating in events outside your usual working hours.

Consider joining a workshop or event with your early morning coffee, or bring a nightcap and log in for sunrise on the other side of the world. Whenever you join, you’ll have a chance to meet and learn from colleagues on six continents.

Visit our website to learn more about Forum, including our engaging plenary sessions, special gatherings, “dine-arounds,” and our Saturday party. (If you haven’t heard, there’s no such thing as an IACP Forum without a dance party!

If you aren’t already an IACP member, this is a great time to join, as it will pay for itself with a member discount that is more than the cost of membership.

I promise this year’s Forum will be like nothing you’ve experienced before. I wish you an engaging and inspiring experience.

May you find new connections and new ideas for practice as we continue to evolve for a changing world.

Come inside. The Door is Open!

In solidarity,

Anne Tamar-Mattis, J.D.
IACP Executive Director
