One of the biggest accomplishments and successes My Collaborative Team saw this year was our weekly happy hours every Friday afternoon. These happy hours started back in March when the first wave of lockdowns took place across North America and the response from the very first Zoom has been overwhelming.

Every Friday afternoon, Collaborative Professionals from around North America gather to share stories from their week. We chat about the Collaborative Process and different philosophies on how we practice. We have fun with games and trivia that always fills the room with laughs. Most importantly, we share our feelings and provide an outlet for our Collaborative family to share how we are feeling.

As Collaborative Practitioners we are constantly working to help serve families in our community during some of their toughest times. Unfortunately we forget how much this emotional stress can weigh on us and we forget to take care of our own mental health. My Collaborative Team is a place where everyone not only gets to know your name, but a place where you become family and can share what is going on in your private and professional life.

This last year we heard about countless successful Collaborative cases being resolved all across North America and we talked about problems in our cases and how to grow from these experiences. We shared news of grandchildren being born, children getting engaged, new homes being bought, and new jobs being started. We heard and shared stories about personal struggle, illness, and heartache. The beauty of family is no subject is off-limits and that is exactly what we created with the help of our collaborative community, for you!

Whether you can join us every week or only once a month, YOU are always welcome to join our family. In 2021 we will be working directly with practice groups across the United States and Canada to allow individual practice groups the free opportunity to co-host a happy hour with My Collaborative Team.
